There are a small percentage of students who are falling behind in class because they are not keeping up with the required reading assignments.  Students who are not completing their homework (whether written or reading based) on a nightly basis are going to be lost and confused in class, due to missing content.

Warm-Ups and class activities are not based solely on lessons taught in class.  Students must keep up with the required reading and be prepared to discuss the topics in class. If needed, students should take notes while reading to help them recall the information in class.

Please ensure students are reading on a nightly basis and that they are completing all classwork and warm-ups from the day’s lesson as many times this continues into homework. This will also help ensure students earn a 100% on their notebook check.
