READ READ READ...everyday and everything! Their books, the comics, the cereal box, street signs,to their younger sibblings, their grandparents and directions to a game they want to play!

Also encourage your child to write as often as possible ,and use a variety of different words. Here are a few ideas for parents and students.

Whether it be a quick note to their friends, loved ones, such as a grandparent,a cousin's birthday card or a get well card to a friend.  Have the child write out your shopping list, postcards from a fun vacation spot, invite a friend to their house for a  sleepover party, or even write a birthday party invitation.Whatever the situation always encourage writing daily from your child or childrenand also have them read it back to you!

READ READ READ...everyday for 20 to 30 minutes and everything possible! The daily newspaper as the Glassboro Public Library are great tools for this venue. Enjoy reading daily, it increases your vocabulary.

Thank you parents for taking an active role in your child's education.
