HOW TO COME TO THE LIBRARY
From Class:
You must present a pass if a teacher sends you from their class.
During A Free Block:
If you choose to spend a free block in the library, you must arrive before the late bell.
From Lunch:
If you choose to skip lunch you may go to the library without a pass if you arrive before the late bell. If you enter after the late bell, you must have a pass from a teacher.
YOU MUST STAY FOR THE ENTIRE BLOCK. Library staff will not write you a pass back into lunch.
Do NOT plan to eat your lunch in the library.
GENERAL RULES
All school rules apply in the library (hats, language, respecting property, etc.)
Failure to follow rules could result in a discipline referral
+ All students must sign in to the library unless they are coming with their teacher.
+ Students who are not accompanied by a teacher are under the supervision of the Library staff who
have the same authority as a teacher.
+ Please do not bring food or beverages to the library.
+ Please respect classes and students working in the library; please work quietly.
+ Clear your table before leaving.
+ Please leave chairs where you find them; do not move furniture.
+ You may borrow as many books as necessary for class assignments providing you do not have
overdue books.
LIBRARY COMPUTERS
Library laptops and internet are intended for school assignments and activities. Appropriate personal projects may be pursued if laptops are available.
If your computer privileges are suspended elsewhere in the school, you may not use library computers.
If you violate library computer rules, you will lose computer privileges throughout the school.
Under most circumstances, only students actually working on computers are to be at workstations. One person to a workstation, please.
You may not:
Printing
Pick up printing at the Main Desk.
All printing must be complete by the end of the block.
Library staff will not issue late passes because you were printing material.
Library staff will not give your printouts of:
- Multiple copies
- Game rules
- Inappropriate language / images
- Lyrics
- Celebrity / sports pictures
Using Internet
Before using internet you must first sign the Glassboro Public Schools Internet Use Agreement.
You may not use internet to:

access inappropriate websites
-
enter chatrooms
-
send or receive email
-
download material onto the hard drive
-
play games
-
purchase materials online
LIBRARY CATALOG
The library catalog is available on all library workstations and at a catalog terminal in the library.
You can search by title, author, subject, or keyword.
